Webmedia Fiji developed a custom software application for Provincial Development (under the Ministry of Rural & Maritime Development and National Disaster Management). Built ‘from scratch’, the application allows PDP to access all infrastructural development data that ‘drills down’ all the way to the village level. It offers a high degree of customised reporting and the software was integrated with a mapping component; multiple extended input forms; and aggressive search and sorting capabilities. Administers and users can input and access data by zones, provinces, tikina and/or village. The software supports hundreds of villages and creates summaries on all infrastructure development and holdings including water, electrification, landscape, agriculture, accessibility and disaster risks.
